Stripping Down My Original SL90

I finally got some time to begin disassembling my original SL90 - the exhaust is in really bad shape, wrong heat shield screws, lots of rust.  It's a good thing I have my restored exhaust to replace it!

Here's my bike after 2 hours of work (sunset) - all tin is off along with most of the small parts.  Now, it's time to take off the wheels, forks, swing arm and finally the engine...

  1. I have really enjoyed your blog on the restoration of your SL90.
I have acquired a blue SL90 project and will be starting on it soon.
It would be great to know where you have found many of your NOS parts for your project. Ebay is a good source, but it does not have all the parts I need. Any assistance in this area would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards, Steve
