Wheels

Here are the first set of wheels - the spokes are in good shape with almost no corrosion and there is minimal rust on the rims.  I will polish the rims and spokes, then true the wheels.  They look good for 44 year old parts.

My alternative - I have a new front rim, fresh from Japan (shown in bubble wrap) and I had a rear hub media blasted to evaluate it (on the right).  The hub in the middle is a front hub coated in silver.  The coated hub looks nice, but hardly original.  The blasted hub will need significant polishing.  I can experiment with these (and a rechromed rear rim) to see if I can create a nice looking set using NOS spokes.
