Interesting Barn Find

It raining today, so here's a rainy day diversion - an interesting "barn find" Honda SL90 that popped up in Long Beach California.

You can just make out the SL90 hiding under the cover

Here it is, uncovered with the owner.

Original black California license plate shows it was last registered in 1977.

Here it is in the light of day.  You can tell it is a Japanese market version by the turn signals, factory foot pegs on the swing arm and the strap on the seat.

The speedometer confirms the bike as a Japanese in-country version (Km/h).

It appears to be missing the side cover (a hard to find item).

There's plenty of rust and dust.  I'll bet the grips are hard as rock. Still, it's worth restoring and would make an excellent project.
