The tank, fenders, side cover and air cleaner housing are now getting their new coat of red, so it's time to work on other parts. The forks were next in line.
Take two old oil covered forks, degrease them, clean them up, add new seals and wipers and polish like crazy (the black on the towel is the oxidation off of the aluminum)...
Fortunately, Honda still makes the fork caps for the SL90. It saves time and money if you simply replace the old rusty ones with new caps. Now I will to install new races and bearings in the frame neck so I can install the triple tree and forks.
